Start with Your Provider Footprint

Phynd UPM implementation starts with your target market geography of providers. This includes your county, state or multi-state area. Although your Phynd UPM platform is pre-loaded with Unified Provider Profiles (UPP) for your market, any provider profile in the country can be loaded into your platform at no additional cost.

STEP 1: Gather

A Single Source of Provider Data

Phynd UPM consolidates existing provider data, for each referring, credentialed, or employed provider, with external data sources to create a single source of truth, called the Unified Provider Profile (UPP)

The Phynd UPM Platform eliminates the time consuming task of keeping provider data up to date by harvesting fresh data from many sources and work-flow tools within your organizations, as engagements occur.

Users can add providers on the fly if they are not in the EMR or ancillary system. Without Phynd UPM, the impact to hospitals is tens of millions of dollars in delayed billing.

STEP 2: Manage

Ensure Better Provider Data

The Phynd UPM platform ensures a constant cycle of provider data improvements from external and internal sources, admissions work-flow tools, scheduling, ancillary departments and call-centers. Self-service tools for care-providers create a single source of accurate provider data.

The Phynd UPM platform includes reports that enable mining of provider data for compliance issues, sanctions, referral patterns and billing address changes.

STEP 3: Share

Synchronize Better Provider Data to all Systems

The Phynd UPM Platform supports real-time, bi-directional synchronization using flat file, HL7 or custom APIs (web services). All synchronizations start with the Phynd Mapper. Our Unified Provider Profiles (UPP) contain a small number of standard fields from external sources to an unlimited number of custom fields. These fields are mapped to the hospital's internal systems and instantly synced.

In addition, the Phynd UPM rules engine creates a structured hierarchy of what sources can update/overwrite UPP data within the fields.
