Thomas White

CEO & Founder,
Phynd Technologies

Tom is responsible for day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the company's long and short term plans.

Prior to Phynd, Tom co-founded healthcare IT company Vocada (now part of Nuance Communications) and Newscast, Inc. He also serves as a mentor to the start-up accelerator Health Wildcatters.


Peter White

Chairman & CPO,
Phynd Technologies

Peter oversees the strategy, design and delivery of Phynd’s product offerings.

Prior to joining Phynd, Peter co-founded with Tom a number of successful SaaS-based software companies, and most recently spent several years with Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN), a major Healthcare IT company that acquired his previous venture.


Bobby Helmedag

Managing Director,
REX Health Ventures

Bobby Helmedag serves as the Managing Director at REX Health Ventures (RHV). Previously, he served as a Director of Operations and Director at RHV.

Bobby oversees the day-to-day operations of the fund, and joined RHV in 2010.

Bobby also serves as Advisor at Tidewater Equity Partners. Previously, he worked for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee in the Corporate Development group. He has also held positions with an investor group in Columbia, S.C., Citigroup and KPMG. He serves as the Rex Health Ventures Board representative for Midnight Pharma, Target PharmaSolutions and Phynd Technologies as well as having Board Observer roles with Aerial BioPharma and Awarepoint.

Bobby received an International M.B.A. from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He received an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.


Jim Duda

Managing Partner,
Dallas Venture Partners

Jim is managing partner with Dallas Venture Partners and an Executive VP of Genus Holdings, LLC, a private investment company. Genus has holdings in real estate, private equity, and venture capital. Jim’s early investments include Zico Coconut Water, Talmer Bancorp and Phynd.

Previously, Jim spent almost a decade in Washington D.C. running a not-for-profit foundation in the travel industry. He spent several years working in early-stage companies, building 1st generation websites for Fortune 500 companies. He co-founded Reallinx, a broadband application and service provider for apartment communities.

Early on, Jim was a talent agent at International Creative Management in Los Angeles.

Jim has an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business and a BSJ from Northwestern U.
